    Im recently new to Premiere and was wondering how to target audio tracks when dragging from the source winodw. I can only seem to be able to move the audio to track 4… not track one. It wont let me? why is this ?

    Premiere Pro keeps mono and stereo audio on separate tracks.

    I am guessing that you are trying to put a mono clip onto a stereo track.

    You can tell if a track is mono or stereo by looking at the icons in the track header section on the timeline. Stereo have a pair of speaker symbols, mono have just one.
