Moving all Data including Programs to Laptop
I just purchased a new 17in. Powerbook and I want to move all my software as well as data to my new computer from my G4 Desktop. What is the process for making this happen. Thanks very much.

Use Disk Utility to repair the permissions on both computers first.
Then hook them up with a firewire, then on the laptop go to: APPLICATIONS/UTILITIES/Migration Assistant
You should be able to figure it out from there!
