    Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone has ever set up something where you are zoomed in from above on a location then zoom out a little ways and move to a different location, say across town, and zoom back in on another building…I am would like to try and do this for a transition from one location to another.

That should be fairly easy using the “Scale” and “Position” settings in the footage (Image) you are using.

If I understand you correctly, the image you use should be considerably larger than your frame size so you can zoom in without losing clarity.

You should get a large ariel image of the location (town) and place it in the timeline, then using the scale and position settings center the first location to scale and keyframe those settings.

Then move down the timeline to the desired amount of time in which you want this to occur and scale and center the 2nd location.

As the move begins you would zoom (Scale) out of the first location, then as the timeline progresses you will be moving the image to the 2nd location, then zoom (scale) down to that location at the desired point.

Should be simple, keyframing the position and scale to the correct time points is all it will take.

That sounds like it would work….Now I live in the rural NW Ohio. Anyone know where I could get a hi-rez picture of this area? I have looked on Google Earth and was hoping for something a little better.
