Moving a project from Shared to an External
I’ve been asked to move a project from the Shared folder on the internal drive to an external drive. I want to make sure I do it right and that everything links up. I think all I need to do is move the project and in the Avid Select Project window change the file path to the new external drive and choose External button and select the project? Thanks for the help in advance.

You are right. The location of the Project file has nothing to do with where the media is stored. Avid knows where to look for the media no matter where you save the project file.
