    Hello friends
My clip has some dude dancing in front of a crowd – the crowd is basically standing still and the guy dancing is the only movement during the scene.

I want to single out the guy dancing so i may have just him rocking out to a different background.

The only current way i know how to do this is to go frame by frame with the eraser in vector paint.

Please tell me an easier way i can achieve this result. Because the dancer is the only thing on screen moving i’m hoping it may be possible to somehow use that movement to achieve the results I’m after.

    Any advice? Thank you 🙂

    Yep.

I recently wrote a blog post about rotoscoping in After Effects, in which I explain some of the basics and recommend the Creative COW DVD on the topic by Pete O’Connell.
