Move window reads:59:30:000000!
Wondering if anyone’s found a better workaround than rebooting FCP when you get the dreaded lockup in your Move window that reads, “59:30:00:00”? Has this been fixed in FCP 7 or no?

What do you mean…what “move window?” I have never heard of this issue. Have you trashed your preferences lately?

You really need to learn this function–Highlight a piece of video in your timeline, then type the numbers 500 (or any number). What pops up is a small window called “move”. Every once in a while it freezes, reads 593000, then no longer functions until reboot. Prefs have nada to do with it.

OH, that’s what you mean. I do that all the time, I just didn’t know that it was called that. Never had that issue, and preferences have a lot to do with EVERYTHING. Trashing them solves a lot of issues. Try it and see.
