Move layer quickly to mouse position
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any method or plugin that allows you to quickly move a layer to the mouse position.
For example our client often uses text that has loads of lightbulbs on each letter.
I’ve created a method for getting randomly flashing flares on each one but it is a pain to position each layer by hand over each lightbulb as there can sometimes be hundreds of layers to position.It would be really useful if I could select the flare layer, hold down a key, click on the position I want that layer to be and the layer moves / snaps automatically to that position.
Does this sort of action ring any bells for anyone?

technically i think i did just see a plugin that might help..paint and stick…but its $99. you could create nulls then parent things to them then zero them out. but that probably wont save you much time
