  • Move clips freely; not frame by frame

Posted by Jeroen Van weperen on October 10, 2015 at 7:45 pm

    Hello,

I’m editing a video in which I need to move audio quite precisely, but the video needs to move with it (So it’s still synced with the audio). Now when I move the clips, I can only move it frame by frame. Is there a way I can override this, and move the clips freely?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Jeroen

You can detach the audio from the video and move it very precisely. But you’re obviously limited to moving video within the physical constraints of the frame rate of your timeline.

You can move audio by subframe, but video can only move frame by frame.
