Move all angles inside a multicam
I am losing my ever-loving mind. I’m very new to video editing, but having come from an extensive audio editing background, it all strikes me as unbelievably unintuitive. Anyway…
I little preamble, I’m working on a short music video, so I’m working with my clips in a multicam. I began cutting and choosing angles for it on the main timeline, then realized I needed to add more angles to the multicam. But after doing so, for some reason all of the clips in my multicam have shifted to start at 38 sec or so, instead of at 0, where I need them. This makes my previous edits (angle selections? cuts? Not sure the right term) to the multicam in the main timeline all out of time and useless. So I need to move my track to start at zero, but only some of my angles start at 0, so I can’t move them individually without losing their timing to the track. How can I fix this? If I could grab all the clips in my multicam and move them silumtaneously so they maintain their relationship to each other (like you would in audio editing), I could just slide everything back to zero. But I can’t find anyway to do this. Is there something easy I’m missing?
I hope I’ve adequately explained my dilemma. I’m happy to clarify if needed.
Thank you so much,
-L.
