    Hello,

I’m experimenting with working between PPro and After Effects, using “Replace with After Effects Composition.”

If I’ve created a type (title) track in PPro and have it over a clip, it doesn’t seem like I can get that type layer over properly in After Effects.

    Here’s what I’ve been doing.

I select both tracks in PPro (title and underlying video clip) and “Replace with After Effects Composition. Even though both tracks (layers) appear in a new AE composition, the title layer is nothing but black.
Just a black layer covering the entire frame.

Is it possible to send title layers over to AE for further manipulation? And if so, how?

    Thanks.

That is correct. Titles become solids.
Create your title in AE if you need AE for futher editing.
