Move a pre-comp to a new project
Hi,
I am self taught with after effects and still a bit of newbie. I’m working on an animated scene in a club. I wanted to animate my main characters while a friend animates people dancing in the background on a separate computer, then import his dancers in to my project.
Is this possible and can anyone link me to a good guide for it?Thanks in advance.

File–>Import–>Your friend’s project.
Or have your friend export a file with an Alpha Channel and import that if you don’t need to adjust anything.
