I picked up a project someone did in Final Cut.

I have gotten all the footage to EDL in and all the audio as well.

I need to make changes to it, the media is shown as offline, I am in Premiere CS4. The footage is all transcoded to the .MOV quicktimes. I need to know how to get this footage to all convert to .R3D

I need a PC solution to this issues. I don’t care if I rename every file on my PC from .MOV to .R3D I just want it done in a batch.

Part of me knows there is something easier here, I am sure the header is .MOV and they are offline, but how do I get them online in premier?

    Any ideas?

OK so I figured out the workflow, it is in the process of post. So who has the X-Box while we wait for renders on this footage?
