Well, it worked before I installed Quicktime 7!!! And uninstalled it and went back to qQuicktime 6.6

Now Premiere Pro 1.5 won’t import .mov files.

What do I have to do to get back this functionality?

Try a System Restore to a date that you could import QT files.

Found the same thing here. The uninstaller for QT 7 doesn’t appear to do its job properly and screws things up – and you get stuck with iTunes being installed.

I did a system restore (I’ve learnt my lesson) and got 6.5 working again.

    Wayne:

Why did you uninstall QT 7? Where you having problems?

Silly iTunes thing aside, QT 7 actually fixed a problem with QT v6.5 player going through a dialogue asking me to insert a disk in each one of my multi-card reader slots 5 times (20 dialogues to click out of…VERY annoying)

    Just some advice:

Stay away from QuickTime 7 !!!

It damaged my machine, my brother’s and it’s imposible to uninstall (And Itunes Too).

I had to format and start over.

Also stay away from any Ipod related software (other than Itunes)
