Mov file Glitchy playback in Vegas
I’ve recently fixed a corrupted mp4 file
It was fixed to the same size 19gb 4k file but is now a mov file.
The program created another file that was h264
The h264 file is not able to import into Vegas
The mov file imports and plays back in Vegas like this – one frame backwards, one frame forwards, two frames forward, one frame backwards then forwards, like its playing normally, but jumping around shaking back and forth.
I’ve since taken that 19gig mov file and converted it back to mp4 – but is now only 2gigs. It imports and plays back in Vegas fine, but I’d rather edit the higher quality file. Any fix? I’ve tried to disable resample. -

It’s strange… The file has been recovered. – but it will only play correctly in VLC and Potplayer.
the same .mov and h264 file (same size) both play wrong and glitchy in Vegas preview.
