Posted by Brett Juchniewicz on February 19, 2009 at 1:41 amHow do you capture a finished Quicktime file into FCP? I’m trying to transfer it so I can set my own in and out points for it since it won’t let me do it if i just drag it into a bin.

February 19, 2009 at 1:49 amWhat do you mean finished quicktime? All files captured by FCP are Quicktimes.

February 19, 2009 at 3:37 amOh, it was a video that someone made and exported it as a Quicktime. He wants to touch it up a little and add a few quick effects to it, but for some reason I can’t change the in point to create heads for transitions.

All the best,
Tom
