    Hey guys,

Just got a new iMac with the Magic Mouse and the mouse is horrendous with C4D! What bothers me most is the zooming in function that is typically reserved for a mouse wheel. Since the whole mouse is treated like a mouse wheel, a slight touch up or down on the mouse throws the camera everywhere. Very annoying!

Just wondering if there is a way to disable this feature in Cinema. Don’t want to turn it off in the OS since the scrolling is useful when browsing the internet.

    Thanks in advance!

Throw that POS in a drawer and get a real mouse.

Agreed. Any advice on what mouse is good? I’ve heard good things about that Logitech MX Revolution…

And I just had to ask… guessing there’s no way around the zoom in thing?

I use a Logitch Performance mouse and I like it quite a bit.

AFAIK there’s no way to turn off the scrolling feature but you might check with Maxon tech support if you’re otherwise happy with the Apple mouse.

I know this is crazy old, but what you’re looking for is the application MagicPrefs. https://magicprefs.com/ It lets you set different mouse behaviors for the Magic Mouse by application including turring off scrolling.
