Mouse Lags During Outputs
Hi there. I’ve been having a weird problem lately with FCPX. When I’m outputting a video either as a master to the hard drive or directly to Vimeo, my mouse cursor becomes pretty much unusable. It lags horribly and the movement is terribly choppy. It happens with both my magic mouse and my Wacom tablet (which is attached through USB). AND it happens system wide, not just inside FCPX. So to be clear, my bluetooth mouse AND my USB tablet both experience the same issue. So it’s not either one of them malfunctioning. As soon as the output is finished, the controls go back to normal. This has happened on a couple of separate projects – 30 second timelines – with RedCam footage. I have done countless projects with redcam footage on my system from 2K footage up to 6K footage. Never had this issue until this month. Anyone ever had this issue?

I had something like this happen when my system resources were just down to nothing. Just clearing out my downloads folder basically solved it for me.
