Okay, so a strange thing is happening with my cursor!
It occasionally disappears completely and won’t come back without a hard reboot. It’s a standard Mac mouse plugged straight into the keyboard and the keyboard plugged via a USB extender into the G5. I originally thought it could be signal degradation via the USB extender, but the keyboard is still active and mouse sensor lit. So I’m erring toward this being a software issue.
    Anyone got any ideas?

What version of the os are you running?

Ive run into this a while back on a number of machines that use 2 monitors, and this would only happen on one of the two (but usually the main window if i remember correctly).

I think this was corrected with certain system updates…

    Hi,
I’m running OSX 10.4.2 with FCP 5.0.2. and dual screen setup.
Do you advise a software update?

I’ve ahd the exact sasme issue with my G4 but no problems yet with my G5.

I was able to correct the problem by plugging the optical mouse into the tower itself instead of the keyboard USB plug.
