  • mounting a raid (1) drive osx

    Hi.
I have a LaCie 2Big 3TB NAS, some years old now. 2 drives inside, and as far as I remember they are in raid(1) mode, meaning mirroring.
Now I have problems with the NAS booting. The lacie is just blinking blue(which apparently means booting).
So I’m thinking. Ill take out one drive, and mount it via my external icybox usb thingy.

But.. Osx says it does not recognize the drive and can’t mount. Does see it though as a 3tb drive.
so.. is there some special format to theese drives? Some software I need to use?

Any help appreciated. Please note that Im not an expert in these things..

    thanks
    Torbjørn
