  • Motorized Turntable for Tabletop Work?

Posted by Dan Brockett on September 22, 2006 at 1:33 pm

    Hi all:

We have been renting one called the Rev-Pod but it is unreliable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to buy or rent a motorized turntable in LA? Need variable speed, heavy duty for heavier objects as well as light weight.

    Any advice appreciated.

Get an Atlas Model XT-100-0-2 welding turntable. They are not cheap but will
do what you want. 0 to 4 rpm – super smooth – foot pedal – forward and reverse.

I just bought one for food shots. They are around $1,000 – build like a BSH.

You’ll have it for a lifetime.

If you need a cheaper model try this place. These turntables are made for product displays, trophys ect…
They are definitely more delicate than the welding table above, we use ours with a ultimatte blue painted wood top for product shots.
