I’m working on a 1280×720 29.97p sequence in FCP. I’ve temporarily cut my audio track to send along with images to a Motion project for timing. Sent my project to Motion, laid out my graphics and saved the project. I then try and import that .motn file back into FCP and I keep getting File import errors not allowing me to. I’ve done this hundreds of times and never had an issue. I’ve even tried disabling the audio in Motion, but that didn’t help either.

Can anyone help me out with this?

    Hi Matt,
    That is Motion.
The best you can do is to export directly from Motion a Prores 444 with Alpha.
    Then import to FC.
