Motion won’t open
All of sudden Motion 3 won’t open and when I opened FCP 6.06 many of my effects and templates are missing. I tried re-installing FX Factory but I didn’t see it when FCP was opening.
Do I need to re-install motion?

Firstly i would try Digital Rebellions free preferences manager to see if you can repair Motion before the more drastic reinstall options.

Thanks for steering me to Digital Rebellion, I wasn’t aware of their products.
I tried the Preference Manager software and trashed and emptied trash and then opened each program to create the new preference files. When I try to open Motion it says that it has closed unexpectly and never opens. I can load FXFactory but when I open FCP it does not load. Now with FCP I’m back to the basic transitions and filters and no master templates.I really do not know what step to take next and appreciate any advice.
