motion trouble
installed motion 1 on my g4 powerbook. the programme would not open beyond splash screen. re-installed it and the programme opens but:
templates won’t open although they are on the disk
the text tool does not work etc etc. most other functions work fine.i did not get a screen saying ‘motion will not run on your machine.’ i have 2gig of ram and 31gb free on disk. fcp runs fine as do all other apple programmes.
any ideas what i can do or what the problem might be?

Probably your graphics card is not compatible with Motion. Make sure it’s one of these before purchasing or otherwise obtaining Motion:
