    Good morning,

So I think the title might say it all. I’m trying to motion track a cell phone screen using mocha through aftereffects.
The only thing that I’m having trouble with is that the screen has rounded corners and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to achieve this. I’m not sure if there is a setting within mocha or if it would be applying some sort of mask to the object in after effects.

Also, something to keep in mind is that I’m fairly new at this and still learning.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I don’t understand the problem you’re experiencing. Mocha should be able to track the screen regardless of the roundness of the corners.

Sorry about that if I wasn’t clear.
Its actually tracking just fine but I was having trouble figuring out how to get the corners of the video to be rounded. Then of course as I was typing up my response to you, it hit me to just make a rounded rectangle mask on the video that I was replacing the screen with. So I guess I was just too frustrated early on to see the easy way of doing it lol!

What I’d do is create a rounded recentangle shape layer, which matching dimensions to your video. Then I’d copy the same corner pin effect to that. And then I’d use it as a track matte for the video. This way you should be able to round the edges.
