Motion tracking problems with green tv screen.
Hi… I have a simple problem that is causing me nightmares. I have a shot that is zooming out from a Green Screen TV like thing (actually it was a projector with heaps of spill, thank goodness for junk mattes.) My problem is I am trying to track my image to go onto it and as it is a reveal I have decided to track Position, Rotation and Scale. This is very time consuming but when it is all done I apply the data to my image and its completely wrong, it ends up upside down and wrong size and wrong position e.t.c.
Im curious as to what im doing wrong here, please help. Is there any preffered best method to track a reveal from a screen?

can you take a snapshot of the thing you’re trying to track and where / how big you have your trackpoints?
your scanning region might be too big or too small.. the pixels you’re sampling from might be to similar to their backgroud etc.. there’s a hundred things that could go wrong… its hard to make a guess as to what’s freaking out without actually SEEING the shot..

Thank you Jeremy, I shall upload a snapshot in a few hours when I get home.
If it helps I can say the tracking actually seems to be ok in that the points stay where they should on screen, my tracking regions are very big to acheive this though, could that be having an effect?
