Hey guys i have a problem, i’m shooting a video thats due tomorrow and i have a scene where i forgot to use a tripod. Its a scene involving a green screen where i need to make it look like the man is looking out the window that is green screened to a tropical place but since i didn’t use a tripod the foreground moves around and the background doesn’t, i tried to track the motion and paste it onto the background scene but i must be doing something wrong HELP!

I’ll do a very basic step by step:

    Key out blue screen 😉

Put your background layer below foreground.

    Apply motion tracking to foreground.

Move the tracker cursor on the object you are tracking.

That should open a new video comp window (Tracker window) Your background won’t show up there. Hit play in the analyse area to make sure your tracker doesn’t jump.

When satisfied, click apply and select your background layer with the ‘Edit Target’ button.

Close the video tracker window to see your original comp video . The background should move with the foreground.

Let me know if that doesn’t work.
