Hey! I’m pretty new to After Effects, so I’m having some troubles with motion tracking that seem easy to fix but I’m clueless how to do it the “easy” way.

Ok, I did perspective corner pin motion tracking, applied the data to new layer. Everything was perfect until the layer started “rotating” by itself. I tried to solve this by trying almost everything under “Transform” option but no help.

Couple screenshots to show exactly what I mean..

1)this is how ran at start and how it should run – https://tourneycpm.mrlazyinc.com/files/users/emir4nt/Capture_065.jpg

2)this is next frame (wrong way) – https://tourneycpm.mrlazyinc.com/files/users/emir4nt/Capture_066.jpg

this lasts for about 70 frames so moving the layer manually would be pretty time consuming…

    Thanks to advance.

(Sorry if this thread already exsists somewhere, I’m in a hurry)

My thought is that maybe you mixed up which corner pin tracker goes to which corner? It looks like point 2 became point 3, etc.

This should be pretty easy to check just by following each tracker and seeing if it suddenly jumps to the wrong corner along with the rest…

I ended up switching corner pins by myself and re-tracked motion.

    Thanks
