I just updated to AE 2015 and having some issues with the stabilize motion tracker. I am manually tracking a fixed point to stabilize camera movement. When I move the tracker box, the tracking path often doesn’t quite reach the attach point. Also, the tracker is creating keyframes in between the actual video frames. It seems quite random and sometimes matches back up with the actual video frames, but most often does not, nor does it create key frames at a fixed interval. I can see points within the tracker path, in between the video frames. When I apply the tracker, it creates a very ineffective stabilization. I have the keyframe interpretation set to linear, default settings.

I’m not sure what to do here. Any help would be much appreciated.

UPDATE: I figured it out. It did not have to do with the version, but the fact that I was working with an image sequence rather than a video file. When I rendered out the video and ran the stabilizer again, everything worked.
