I want to make to stick animations (.mov’s) to a blank sheets of paper that I shot to make it look like the .mov’s are on that piece of paper. Terrible explanation so I have attached example files.

    Paper: Main media
Buchwalter: example media that I want to “live” on the first sheet of paper

The animation: As the paper is slide onto the table I want buchwalter to seem like it is part of the paper, but playing in real time. As you can see I put a dot in the middle of the paper to track the motion but I guess it is too small and moves in and out of the frame.

Maybe this just needs to be keyframed? Either way, this seems like a basic effect to do; but unforunatly after effects isn’t my thing.

Could someone please explain how they would do this. If the paper needs to be reshot then that is fine (maybe place more motion tracker points. That or does anyone do freelance graphic animation in brooklyn?

    adam

AE native Motion Tracker wont be able to track the shot completely as is it tracks the pixels. The blank sheet paper is going off the screen which will create the problem.

You need a Planar Tracking System like Mocha AE(comes with AE CS% and above) for tracking this shot.

You can start from here :

    Fundamentals of mocha
