Motion tracking anchor points?
I’m trying to understand something – If I have a person filmed on green screen, and have motion tracked the camera movement, and then want a background behind; rather than applying motion tracking calculations to the background directly, can I make it so the background really moves as if within this environment. If I match the tracking movement, the background moves more than it should.
to fully understand what I’m trying to explain – The further the background is from the character, the less it would move, as if in real life. Like when you look up at a starry sky, the stars do not move much, whereas an object directly behind the character would move much more. Do I have to work within a 3d environment in after effects and place my null object where I want it and the background further behind?
