I’m working thru the motion stabilization tutorial from “Creating Motion Graphics”. I’ve gone thru all the steps including “analyze” which gave me a tracking path just as shown in the book. All the keyframes are generated. But when I hit “apply” I get a blue bar across the the comp screen that says “Analyzing in the background (step 1 of 2)” And it is taking a very looong time. Any idea of what is happening here?

    Thanks

What’s the resolution and file format of the clip you are tracking?

    Hey dude,

Hope you are using “Warp Stabilizer”. If you apply warp stabilizer for shaky footage, after effects will stabilize the footage automatically. Just sit back and relax, it will give you a stabilized or less shaky footage. If you think, it consumes more time, then you may use stabilize motion in which you have to manually pick a track point to stabilize the footage.

Reply if you have any doubts.
