Glad to be a part of CreativeCow…this is my first post.
I Adopted Adobe Premier Pro as our Ad Agencies primary video editor. I understand that any type of motion text effects is done primarily with After Effects…and I am willing to learn AE. But, I have noticed that there are some motion title effects for Premiere from 3rd party developers that would speed up my workflow. They seem to provide all the popular text effects I would need without all the design time it would take in AE. Can anyone advise me on the best motion text plug-ins or software that I can use with Premiere. Preferably cross platform…but its ok if it is Mac only.
Also, if there is any pre-set text animation plug-ins for AE that would be helpful too. Thank you for you anticipated help.

I am presuming you are new to After Effects. If you already know what I am sharing here, please disregard.

AE ships with some basic goodies right out of the box. Go to the Animation dropdown menu and select “Browse Presets”.

One of the folder you will find is titled “Text”. Within that folder are assorted goodies to help you get started.

I downloaded the free graymachine kit (graymachine.com) that makes doing things like bullet point builds and reveals quick and easy. Plus, there’s no shortage of free AE template out in the wild ready to help you get off to a quicker start.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

Where did you find the Graymachine presets, Jon?

I found a tutorial video for them on Harry’s site but nowhere to download them, free or otherwise.

    They look very useful.

    Cheers,

    Mark W.
