I have an HD (720p 59.94) timeline assembled in FCP 7.0….I exported it to Motion 4 in order to build graphics on it. After I had finished with the graphics I saved it and went back to FCP. Once I had rendered it I played it back and noticed in several places the video stuttered…I played it back again and it seemed to stutter less but it still did and in different places of the timeline than the first playback.
Anyone have any ideas…does field dominance come into play here? I checked frame rates and both projects were the same.

First of all, check where your renders are stored, they should be on the same fast drive you have your media on.

Secondly, what happens if you export a self contained movie? Still stutter?
