  Motion Text over video

  I have motion text made in AE. Now I want to place it over a video that stops and starts so the timing needs to be adjusted to fit in the pauses where the video stops. This seems so hard to do in Aftereffects – preview mode is so slow and choppy – Should I be doing it in a video editing program?

  How do experienced people do this ?
