  • Motion Templates – looking bad after saving/exporting

    Hi,

I created a final-cut template in apple motion 4. It looks nice in motion, but when I save as template an import it in Final Cut it looks really bad (it seems to be too bright, less colorful and there are block-artefacts). What am I doing wrong?

I also tried exporting it as a video-file (EX XDcam 35 mbit/s 720 50p) – cause thats the same format as my video clips), but again it looks far from what it did in Motion.

Try setting it to Best and see if that solves the problem.

If you import the Motion project file into FCP go to the sequence settings to set to best. If Export from Motion there is an additional option to change it to best or you can under Render, Quality.

    Hi Stephen,

I already did that – but it didn’t change anything – BUT now as I have restartet Final Cut Pro, it works. Strange, I don’t have a clue why, but I don’t really care as long as it look nice 😉

    Thanks for your help
