  Motion templates in FCP causing it to crash?

  Howdy. I’ve been normally creating my lower third graphics in Motion from a template, then saving them as still image files (though some are animated QTs), but lately tried to shorten my workflow by saving the Motion project as a template, throwing it on the timeline (via the “Master template” selector in viewer), but since doing this with four templates on my timeline, FCP crashes quite easily. I can only guess it is related to the Motion templates? Or maybe is it because the templates are stored, by default, on my main system drive? Any ideas? back to the older, slower, way? (though faster because it doesn’t crash as much…)
