  Motion running sluggish

  Just upgraded to Mojave….. Motion behaving sluggishly….. audio on the font end is cut off and when I hit the space bar to start a project there’s a 2 sec delay……. ugh! Every time I start a new project with this software I spend 45 minutes dealing with a new issue….. anybody have ideas pls let me know…… I’ve done the usual like turning off motion blurring and various other settings.
