  Motion Project and Stills Format

  Dear All
  I have been asked from my employer (fashion industry) to prepare a dvd with a collections of photographs from our major suppliers in high fashion.
  I have asked for photos format 1920 x 1080.
  Is there a particular format I should ask for?
  What dpi 72 or 38?
  The end product will be played on our showrooms on SD player I believe.
  I thought about using some of the templates in motion, I believe they`ll suit very well the collection and soundtrack I have in mind.
  The ones I like most are in the HD format for pal.
  So I was thinking in prepare the lot in HD then decode to SD.
  Please feel free to suggest anything that can make the project look great on a TV monitor.
