motion paths?
is there something to turn off to disable the motion path on an animation?? All of a sudden, the motion path drops out…when i try to move the object…it only shows up when I scrub, I checked in View Options and everything is set to on….what the heck…thanks for any help…

In your AE preferences under “Display” you can choose how much of your motion path is shown. No matter what though, you will only see the path when the layer is selected.
PC: Edit > Preferences > Display
Mac: After Effects > Preferences > Display
