    Hi everyone,

I have a piece of video which I have moving across the screen (right to left, and at an angle), it was filmed on a blue screen, so I have keyed out the blue.
The problem is, when it moves across the screen there is a black box (with white edges)on the edge of the video. The video I am keying over is a black screen (with dots of white), which will explain why the box is black. Obviously, it is only seen when the video is either scaled, or rotated, as it happens the video I need moving across the screen needs both.

In short, How do I get rid of it? I have tried changing the properties of the blue screen key, but no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this one.

Are you seeing just the bounding box of the keyed video clip?? This will not print to the final export.

The box outputs from the timeline to the Monitor I’m using, even after rendering. So I’m guessing it’s not a bounding box.
I have tried scaling the footage, then putting the blue key on (as the box is the size of the preview window) but it didn’t work.

Is your video clip in V1? If not, what is below it? Did you key out the blue in Premiere?
Just trying to replicate your work.

    I’ve fixed it!
I used the four point garbage matte on the clip, moved the points around and it vanishes!

It was in V2, I’m not sure if this would make a difference, but it’s a wierd problem I have never encountered before.

    Thanks for your help Mike.
