Motion path bezier handles disappeared

When you hover the pen tool cursor over a point and it changes from the pen into a sharp V-shaped pointer, that’s the Convert Vertex tool — and clicking it without dragging on a point will convert it from Bezier to linear. Perhaps that’s what happened to you?

Thanks! I’m not sure if that’s what happened, but clicking it with the Change Vector tool fixed it!
