I downloaded the last update for DVDarch (3c) hoping better quality from renderings on video-menus… still the same (bad) quality obtained when DVDarch render video for menus … is the same quality you get from “high” on preview mode (authoring), but I want something like “best”….
Maybe this is not very important for many people, but DVDarch should produce DVDs of the same (or better) quality than their apple competition or even Ulead on the PC field…

The Video content (renderings from Vegas – mpeg2) without any modification on DVDarch, looks very nice and sharp compared to the menus… still have to use simple menus for my DVDs….

any comment or tip about this issue would be greatly apreciated…

Are you starting off with AVI for your menus?

Yes… I tried AVI after making mpeg2…. not really an improvement ..
I believe is the render settings that we can’t modify (as in Vegas…)

I struggled with the quality back in DVDA1 days until I started created the menu movies as progressive (30p) instead of interlaced. I was having severe issues of blockiness and this resolved it, especially in the fine lines of logos.

May not be the same issue you’re having, but probably worth checking.
