  motion menu problems

  I’m trying to add a motion menu in Encore. In the Motion tab of the Properties panel I select the video .mov file. It appears and I then try in render it before viewing the project in the Preview mode. Each time a message appears “file not found.” The .mov file is located on my external drive. Why can’t Encore find the file? Any suggestions?
