    is there anything similar to motion math in ae 6.5….i need to use layer audio…..any ideas???

    Nope motion math no longer exists but you can use the “convert audio to keyframes” assistant the comes with AE. It will create a null layer which has the sliders the represent the audio ampliture of the left channel only, the right channel only, and of both channels. If you need a more detailed solution check out trapcode’s “sound keys” plug-in which allows you to acess the volume of different ranges of sound.
