Motion Layouts wont save
My Window layouts wont save.
Im working in Motion 2.
I dont know exactly where they are supposed to be saved, so I cant backtrack it that way. Basically, I rearrange the windows every time I open a project.
When I go to “save current layout”, I enter the name in the field, “enter” and it goes away. It never shows back up under the layout tab, where I always have the same 2 options “Standard” and “Alternate”-“Cinema” is grayed out. Ive trashed preferences, and reinstalled the from the Motion 2 crossgrade discs.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance, Dixon

Thank you! Problem solved
I couldn’t find the folder because it didn’t exist! Although I’ve reinstalled Motion 2 a few times, it never actually created the UI Layouts folder-weird! My solution, using your file path as a starting point was this:
I copied the folder from another Edit suite which had 2 saved custom window layouts, and put it in the right place on my machine-now everything is saving.Dixon Johnston
