Motion is very slow
hi,
I have created a basic animated text in motion. Motion have trouble to playback. I have only a background and a text layer and one audio track on the timeline. Not really to become crazy.
The audio track play well but the visuel effect doesn’t playpack properly even I use preview ram. I don’t know what to do. can u help me? I have already deleted the motion’s preferences but it doesn’t work.I have a MacPro DualCore 2,66Ghz with ATI X1900XT and 5G ram.

Dv Ntsc Broadcast 720 x 486 and the project’s duration is 15 sec.

DV should be 720×480 and it depends how many layers you have, speed of your card, how many particle emitters etc. Motion’s speed varies greatly by project and complexity.

I have just a layer (background) with a text. I have ATI X1900XT video card, recommanded by apple but not sure if it’s the best one for this application. I will try to apply another effect and see what’s happen. It’s a little bit fustration because it’s a nice application and I can’t use it like I want 🙂
