    Hey there,

I have FCP studio 3 (FCP 7), i can bring motion project files into FCP, when i move the motion file on the timeline it makes me re-render, Is there anyway to stop this?

might be able to change your RT settings to unlimited and dynamic for frame rate and quality. you will still have to render, but you may still be able to play back

Unless you plan to tweak and re-edit the Motion project, you could always export out a baked movie and import it into FCP.

You should never have to re-render the Motion project files when you move them. Unless you are moving them so they end up on top of something else such as a video clip. Then you will have to re-render them.
