I am the broadcast production associate for my church. We are getting ready for our big Christmas production and we are utilizing a 30×30 LED curtain in the pageant. The curtain lights are evenly spaced 6 inches apart, so we need to use IMO low res square type graphics, but I dont know where to look online to download. Everything Ive seen are meant for backgrounds for high res screens to project.

LED curtains are very low-res. It might be helpful to think of them more as a textured lighting effect than a graphic effect. Abstract animations or graphics will generally translate better than more concrete images.

Is there a specific look you’re going for?

Right. I just need to find those abstract graphics. We cant have detailed motion because of the square on spacing of the diodes. Can you direct me to a site? We go on sunday. If I cant find these types of graphics, we will be stuck with a very expensive black hole in the background. 🙂

You could try stock media sites like iStockphoto.com or Pond5.com.

Try loops done by VJs for VJs. They are generally low res though not quite as low as you are asking for. On the other hand because they are mainly graphics, missing a few here and there should not be cause for concern:
