  Motion graphics problem

  Editing maps (jpegs, tiffs) on timeline (XDCAM EX 1080 60i). Applying motion thru motion tab results in jagged, nasty looking image that clears up once motion stops.

  Media is on external, 7200RPM FW800 drive, but render files are on internal 7200RPM SATA drive. Tried caching render files to same drive as media with same effect.

  Running 2.4. GHz, 8-core, 20gb RAM, FCP7.

  Have edited same sort of stuff on other systems (same sequence settings) which looked fine.

  This is a new system and the first big project, so I’m hoping I missed a setting some place.

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
