Motion Graphic Template: How to use different font styles in one MGT text line
Hi dear all, my brain is crunching, but I can’t think of a solution. Hopefully someone here can help me out.
I’m designing title animations in AE, and export them as Motion Graphic Templates. If I import and use them in Premiere, I can change the actual text, but can’t change the style (bold or light) per word.
I can ‘Enable Custom Font selection,’ but then the whole line of text changes. I want to be able to change just one or more words from for example a light to a bold style.
I’m thinking of an AE expression on the text layer that finds and replace the style of words starting with for example the sign @. But I can’t get it done. Also tried Animators & Selector that search for words starting with @ and change the stroke width creating a faux bold style, which works, but then I’m not able to hide the @-sign..
I can change the style with an expression, but only all the text, and not just a (couple of) words..Is there a way?
I’ll keep trying though ☺ Will let you all know if I found something! Thx!
